there's nothing terrible about turning two for little lainey.
i'll admit it, i'm a sucker for a toddler in a tutu. there is something so precious about it, you add the pearls, and i melt.
enjoy lainey's sneaks; her whole session will be up as soon as the cast is removed from my wrist friday [yay!]
many moons ago, i met a girl, and instantly hated her. i was positive she secretly wanted to date my then-boyfriend, and she hated my short-shorts. we consistently butted heads for months. then, much to my displeasure, we were forced to drive four hours together, just she and i, in a car, alone. surely, i thought, there was no greater punishment, and only one of us would make it out of the car alive. we drove two straight hours in near silence. the tension was palpable. then, this GIRL had the audacity to suggest that she had the same birthday as ME. how dare she! it was MY birthday. drivers licenses were hastily whipped out, and low-and-behold, we were birthday twins.
and instant friends.
because, of course, it's against the rules to hate your birthday twin.
now, years later (after i ditched the boy and she found one of her own) i am DELIGHTED to announce that
MY BEST FRIEND IS PREGNANT!!!
she announced it to me in the cutest possible way by requesting more information about my maternity and newborn sessions through my contact form on the site. too precious!
dre, i am elated for you and aaron, and cannot wait to meet baby g and be that crazy aunt with the camera always in his or her face. i love your little nugget already and am so happy for you three. (hopefully baby will like me more than puma cat. hopefully.)
